Martin - 50 years

To our family and friends and a great many other people who have touched our lives during our fifty years of marriage, we acknowledge and thank you for being a part of our history and certainly a part of our future!

We married on December 29th, 1962 at St. Paul’s Cathedral here in Yakima. We were so thankful to renew our vows on December 22, 2012 with Rev. Monsignor Ecker who married us fifty years ago. That evening, Ken and Maria Martin graciously entertained guests and family at their home.

As part of our history we were blessed with five children; Kelly, Kerry (Gina), Kevin (Teresa), Ken (Maria) and Kimberley. Our son Kelly died at the age of twelve, but remains in all of our hearts forever. We currently have eight precious grandchildren; Chloe, Cameron, Olivia, Carsten, Carlee, Henry, Kelly and Sophia all of Yakima.

We were surprised with a return trip to Hawaii where we had honeymooned a lifetime ago. Kerry Martin and his family were able to spend this time celebrating with us.

We were so fortunate to spend ten days with our entire family at Pronghorn Golf Club near Bend, Oregon over the holidays! On our actual anniversary date the Club provided champagne and a beautiful dinner that was very memorable for all of us.
